THE BALANCE.

"If there is no God, then everything is permitted." Dostoevsky said this.

It is said that the human mind can rationalize anything to fit its goals. So if for any reason there is nothing to look up to, no eternal condemnation, no superior figure, no karma, then truly there would be no limit to the things people can do.

The idea is simple. Many times, the reason we act decent is because we believe in something. We believe in a system that rewards or punishes. We all believe in something.

For scientists, it is the law of action and reaction. They understand ripple effect and they think through consequences before they act.

For Christians, it is the knowledge that God is watching. It shapes their actions and inactions. Being good becomes a posture they grow into.

For others, it is consciousness. That gentle nudge that pricks them when they look away. Over time, it becomes part of who they are.

Now imagine if none of these existed. A world with no cause and effect. A world with no superior figure to anchor human behaviour. Nothing to guide us. Nothing to hold us. It would be chaos for real.

I am not trying to sound religious. I am only saying that building your principles on something bigger than you is how the system of the world stays balanced.

Dearest reader, the point is; Science, religion and logic are all significant superior entities. They shape us, guide us and give our actions meaning. Without them, the world would be a wild place.
