SHE CRIED...

She fell to her knees and unburdened her soul.
She unravelled, wept, and whispered broken fragments of prayer as her tears kissed the ground.
Yes, her world was collapsing,
The very earth beneath her feet giving way.
And in the midst of all that chaos,
With no exit in sight,
She leaned in,
Into the only thing that still made sense.

The words refused to form,
So she prayed with her heart,
Hoping the One above would see through her tears
And hear the cries her trembling lips could not speak.

So there she kneeled.

Dearest reader, life is tough. Now imagine doing life without an anchor, without something soft to fall on, without a tower to run to in distress.

Hell yeah, it gets tougher.

So here’s a gentle reminder, when the going gets tough, yes, the tough get going, but the truly tough are those who have first learned to be vulnerable before God. The ones who have broken down in His presence and found strength in surrender.

Go to God tired.
Go to God overwhelmed.
Go to Him crying if you must.
However you can, in whatever state you are, just go to Him.
That’s where true strength begins, and that’s how you pull through.

And one more thing, crying is such an underhyped therapy. Try it and tell me how it feels.
