MEMORY LANE...

A poet once wrote, "I praise memories for holding on to moments time would eventually let go of..."

I came across this really old journal today, and truly it was heartwarming.
How I could feel everything, how I could almost touch the girl I was when I wrote each piece. It was a kind of epic I honestly cannot explain.

Naturally, I cannot remember these poems sef, but stumbling on them felt grand. Like a small trip across memory lane, and there I was, baptising in an ocean of happiness. A quiet joy. A kind of warmth only old words can give.

Dearest reader, what is the one thing you are grateful that memories keep a record of?
Moments are fleeting and can easily slip away in the hasteness of daily survival.
Yet somehow, memories hold them carefully, like treasures we did not know we needed.

Today, I am thankful for the pages that remind me of who I have been, who I am becoming, and the journey that still continues.
