Sleep Writing
Yes, there’s something called sleep writing. It’s when your body is so exhausted that you keep drifting off to sleep mid-sentence, and for people like me, you wake right up and continue like nothing happened.
Why do you bother at this point? You might ask.
I believe that when something is truly important to you, you’ll find a way to keep doing it. One of the major ingredients for consistency is the level of importance you tie to the task.
So yes, I feel tired and just want to sleep at this moment. However, would I feel proud if I allowed this moment of fatigue to break my writing consistency? Hell no.
I’d be pissed at myself. That’s why I even bother, it’s like I owe it to myself.
And most importantly, life doesn’t work in sync with how I feel. At the upper echelon of life, it’s not really about emotions or moods. Like we say, life nuh send anybody papa.
Dearest reader, do it tired, do it sad, do it sleepy, just do it anyway. If it matters to you, get it done however you feel. Being subject to your feelings is something you'd regret.
Alright then, goodnight 😴
