God "When"

Do you also do that thing where you give God a timeline? Like you tell Him, “Before this date, I want this to happen,” and if it doesn’t, you just give up on hoping for it?

That was me. I was hoping really hard for two things to happen during the period of FOH. It was one of my major prayer requests throughout the 50-day program. One of them happened, but the other one didn’t look like it ever would.

So when FOH ended, I just rested my case. A literal resignation.

Imagine my shock and joy today when it finally happened. I had already given up and removed my mind from the possibility entirely.

Dearest reader, God is never late. He does not work by our timelines. Sometimes, He waits until your faith has gone quiet, just to remind you that He never forgot.

What is that one thing you are still waiting on? Don’t limit God with deadlines or your own idea of “when.” I now see how silly that was, trying to rush the One who holds time itself.

Trust His timing. He always comes through, just when you least expect it.
