As above...

I once read somewhere, “You cannot solve a problem at the same level as the problem,” and it’s one of those lines that stay with you long after you’ve read them. 

The more I think about it, the more I realize how true it is. You can’t fix something while standing in the same place where it broke. You can’t rise while still reasoning from the same level that pulled you down.

It’s almost like life invites us to climb, to think higher, to shift our eyes from what’s happening to what’s actually going on.

The Hebrews had this powerful belief: “as above, so below.” It wasn’t just a saying, it was a way of seeing the world. They understood that the higher realm, rules the lower.

Whatever is established above naturally finds expression below. It’s not the earth dictating to heaven; it’s heaven shaping the earth. The invisible commands the visible. 

So maybe the real work is to focus on aligning what’s inside you with what you want to see outside. 

That’s why prayers, declarations, and faith moments aren’t just “religious acts.” They are ways of aligning the below with the above. When you speak, believe, and set your heart on God’s truth, you’re literally allowing heaven’s order to influence your reality. Things begin to shift because you’ve shifted first. 

So maybe the question isn’t, “Why isn’t anything changing?” but rather, “Where am I standing?” 

Dearest reader, rise above it. Don’t fight from the same level where it started. Fix your eyes on the higher realm, on the truth that governs everything. 

When we grow up everything else becomes better.
