A FISTFUL OF LIFE

"Life is a fractal. It comes in fragments. You must learn to stitch and stack every fragment life gives you." ~ Mr. Pojo

Life is not linear; it is multidimensional. It is tough, and it's our responsibility to take it as it is and make the most of it.

A poet I love once said, "When you get punched in the oesophagus by a fistful of life, remember that every year two million people die of dehydration." I used to find that funny, what do people dying of dehydration have to do with the fistful of life being thrown at you?

But it does. Life comes in fragments, and each of these phases or pieces exists to help you grow. They are meant to build you up, not tear you down. However, it is your responsibility to stitch them together, every piece, every layer, every fragment.

Dearest reader, it is not enough to scream at the unpleasantness of certain experiences and declare that life is unfair. Rather, take a look at the wreckage and deal with it.

Because at the end of the day, life nuh really send you.

And yes, when you're hit with more than you think you can handle, calm down, drink water, and figure it out. You're never given more than you can bear.
