YOU ARE NOT SPECIAL.



I wish people realize that there's a different version of YOU for each person. How we treat the people dear to our heart, is different from the way we treat the people, we really do not care about.

The irony is that once the said special people lose their space in our heart, they simply become ordinary, and it'd take them by surprise to see the side of us that, like they say "wen nuh really send them".

My friend would joke that she's not a nice person, and if she's once been nice to you, you would only understand or believe this when she no longer cares about you. It crazy but it's real. She's a lover, overly caring, and nice, but I've seen her dislike a person, and I'll tell you this for free -- it's ugly.

Dearest reader, the point is; in the words of Mark Manson, 'You are not special, there's nothing special about you', if you are treated special by a person bear in mind that, that may be the reality of things. And oftentimes you are a exception to the way they treat just anyone, don't take that for granted.

Mind you, this isn't evil or wickedness, it's only God that loves unconditionally, even though regardless upon still, but then we are humans

Don't trivialize the preferential treatment you get. People are not just nice.

TEAM WORK

It can be quite frustrating when a collective effort results in only one person receiving all the praise. Even if my contribution is just 1%, it shouldn’t be overlooked. You never know how these small efforts can make a significant difference. My bubugaga is back from school, and today we did a lot of tidying up. It’s amazing how I suddenly find the energy to work when she's around, despite my usual laziness. After completing so much work, we took a break—we were honestly worn out. Fast forward to the end of the day: everyone applauded her for a job well done, as though it was solely her effort. It felt off because I felt I deserved some recognition too—it was teamwork, after all. So, the point is, you never know how hurtful it can be when someone's effort goes unacknowledged.
