THE THING ABOUT EXPOSURE.
I never really realized how much being part of the protocol department in my church had shaped my personality — at least, not until I found myself in the middle of a completely disorganized crowd.
Recently, I attended a meeting, and honestly, I was baffled at the level of distraction and disturbance in the hall. Mehn, I was irritated. In my head, I kept thinking, "Where are the protocols sef?" (lol).
It made me pause and reflect on how the environments we’re constantly exposed to have a way of rubbing off on us without us even noticing.
Dearest reader, have you ever been in a situation where your own reaction shocked you? Something that once felt normal to you suddenly feels strange or even unacceptable? Like traveling, staying away for a while, and coming back only to realize you can no longer relate to certain things, all because of new levels of, exposure and enlightenment.
