CHRONICLES OF LADY AVA: What Cuts Deep
You see, it is so much harder to take back words, after which they've been spoken.
Ava and I was having a conversation today that turned into an argument, and then she brought up something that i had said a couple of years back. I was astonished she still remembers, because it has been so long.
"How do you still remember this", I asked
"We don't forget what cuts deep", she replied.
Come to think of it; life is a series of events. And all we are left with most times, is memories of either the remarkable incredible experiences, or the devastating depressing experiences. Everything else becomes a blur.
I bet the things you remember when you look into your past are defining moments, or epic moments or even moments that left you utterly shattered.
The things we remember are events that strike a chord, things that stands out --that resonates, that was really worth thinking on.
Dearest reader, people do not forget what cuts deep, so ensure you're intentional with the words you say, and the things you do. Remember words when said can not be easily taken back.
