WHAT'S YOUR PLAN FOR TOMORROW?
My boss would fondly ask, "The problem you don't face today, what is the strategy to face it tomorrow?" and I’d jokingly respond, "Run away till I can no more."
Funny enough, that’s the reality for most of us, myself included. We put off facing the things that bother us, avoid our problems, worries, and fears, until they meet us in the middle of a dead-end street on a hot afternoon with no way out.
We shy away from confronting that secret hurt until it becomes enormous. And that's the problem.
Dearest reader, if you must put off a challenge, then you need a strategy to conquer it tomorrow. It’s not a “when we get to the river, we’ll cross it” kind of thing. Because if you get to the river without figuring out a boat, you’ll never be able to cross it.
The point is, I know procrastination feels easier, but it's important to understand that tomorrow comes with its own challenges. Carrying over today’s problems without a strategic plan will only wear you out.
Remember, take it one day at a time. You're already doing so well.
