We’ve Come Far, Still We Go On
This evening, I came across a piece I wrote last March, and I couldn't help but smile. It was titled "Tired Too." At a glance, I noticed a zillion grammatical errors and how a bit shabby it seemed, and I was reminded of growth.
Life gets busy and crazy, and we often forget to take a step back, to pause and look at how far we've come. I know the journey is still long, but we sef don try. A poet I love once said, “Survival is a full-time job.” I couldn’t agree more.
The daily hassle of getting by? We definitely deserve an award. For pulling through even when nothing seems to be working. For hanging on, even in doubt, fear, and in the middle of the storm?
Funny enough, I can’t say for sure if it gets better. I don’t know if all of this will ease up and life will be seamless again. But this much I do know: it’ll get tougher with each new day, fiercer battles to face, and in every challenge you overcome, you grow, evolve, and become.
Dearest reader, brace up. The worst is yet to come, but when it does? You have all it takes not just to survive it, but to make the most of it.
Here’s your reminder to look back and appreciate the journey, even as you look ahead and keep going.
