Finally, July is coming to an end!
Is it just me, or has this month been extremely long? I could swear I’ve lived through three months in one.
And even as I’m writing this, July is still dragging. The month just doesn’t want to end.
Anyways, something that stood out for me this month, aside from my birthday, was my daily Proverbs 31-day challenge. It was so exciting when the idea first clicked. You know how I am; being a passionate person, I jumped on it without hesitation.
And wallahi, it wasn’t bad at all.
It has been an opportunity to learn and see things from a new perspective.
One thing I’ve learned is that consistency is no child’s play, for real.
And just because something works for you doesn’t mean the next person is less passionate or not trying hard enough.
This consistency thing? I could win an award for it. For this it gets me upset when people commit to things and don't follow through.
For example, in my daily Proverbs group, I’d be like, “But nobody forced you to join naw!”
But then I quickly learned, they are not me, and that’s okay.
Dearest reader, we often expect people to behave the way we would, but we forget that we are all wired differently.
What’s true for you might not be true for me.
We are different people.
Always remember to show people grace, not judgement.
