THE INEVITABILITY OF CONSEQUENCES

"Can a man scoop fire into his lap without his clothes being burned?
Can a man walk on hot coals without his feet being scorched?"
~ Proverbs 6:27-28

In the above verse, King Solomon is emphasizing the foolishness of ignoring the consequences of our actions.

You cannot perform an action and then be surprised by its outcome. Every action we take sends ripples that reshape our world. Like compound interest, these ripple effects accumulate, and sooner or later, they catch up with us.

Every path leads somewhere. The end may hold a reward or consequence, but it is the steps you took along the way that determine what awaits you.

Therefore, you cannot walk on Path A and expect the reward of Path B. We earn our outcomes, whether good or bad, through the choices we make and the ones we neglect to make.

Dearest reader, remember: you only have control over your actions. You do not have control over the ripple effects they cause.

Do not take fire into your chest if you do not want your clothes to be burned.
Do not walk on hot coals if you do not want your feet to be scorched.

It's that simple: avoid the actions whose consequences you cannot bear.
