PERFECTLY IMPERFECT

We're so busy worrying about the very thing we lack that we forget to appreciate and make the most of what we do have.

I believe we are all made perfectly imperfect. We have flaws and beauty. God blessed each one of us with a unique set of traits, attributes, personality, and skills that are specific to us.

Yet, it's often the one thing we weren't given that we chase. But what if we don't need it? What if it's all just chasing after the wind, like King Solomon said in Ecclesiastes? What if everything we'll ever need is already within us, we just need to grow and develop it?

Dearest reader, a secret to living more is to focus on what's in front of you, what you've been given. What skills come naturally to you? What qualities have been placed in you? What are you a natural at?

To echo the quote above: if God didn’t give it to you, you don’t need it. Rest, the Guy upstairs knows exactly what He’s doing.

TEAM WORK

It can be quite frustrating when a collective effort results in only one person receiving all the praise. Even if my contribution is just 1%, it shouldn’t be overlooked. You never know how these small efforts can make a significant difference. My bubugaga is back from school, and today we did a lot of tidying up. It’s amazing how I suddenly find the energy to work when she's around, despite my usual laziness. After completing so much work, we took a break—we were honestly worn out. Fast forward to the end of the day: everyone applauded her for a job well done, as though it was solely her effort. It felt off because I felt I deserved some recognition too—it was teamwork, after all. So, the point is, you never know how hurtful it can be when someone's effort goes unacknowledged.
