BE A 100%.
"Fix your ass, let's meet at the top." ~ Mr. Paul
I read somewhere that relationship math is when two people, both individually 100%, come together to become one.
The idea is that we are whole before we come together. One common misconception we’ve normalized is expecting a relationship to make us feel whole or fill in where we feel insufficient.
Research says this is one of the reasons why relationships often don’t work out.
Being 100% means you're emotionally, mentally, and financially stable. So when you come together, you're not trying to fix anyone’s baggage or “fix their ass.” You've both reached a level of stability, and now, the focus is on building, raising the bar, and doing more.
Dearest reader, people often ask, "When am I ready to be in a relationship?"
The answer is simple: when you're at 100%. When you're stable enough. When you’ve dealt with those childhood traumas so you don’t bleed on those who didn’t cut you, but instead, grow stronger and make more impact.
