Allow me to resound it again: do not go and meet a humble person if you want a lavish lifestyle. Life isn’t supposed to be hard, but we humans just love to complicate things.

Everybody has a type, the kind of person they like or are drawn to. It’s up to you to choose that type and not just anyone. Because it’s harder, if not impossible, to change someone or mold them into your type.

As much as I believe in having a growth mindset and the power of influence to refine a person, there's also a school of thought that not everyone can be influenced, at least not to the degree you'd like.

So, it’s better to go for your absolute type. 100%. Not someone you hope to change, because some traits are deeply rooted, and trying to change someone might cost you more than you're willing to give.

Dearest reader, please go for your type and stop stressing people like me who do relationship counseling (lol).
Oga, you can’t erase her childhood trauma if she’s not willing to work on it.
Madam, there’s no way you can change him.
You sef, you’re not God.

Let’s be guided.

TEAM WORK

It can be quite frustrating when a collective effort results in only one person receiving all the praise. Even if my contribution is just 1%, it shouldn’t be overlooked. You never know how these small efforts can make a significant difference. My bubugaga is back from school, and today we did a lot of tidying up. It’s amazing how I suddenly find the energy to work when she's around, despite my usual laziness. After completing so much work, we took a break—we were honestly worn out. Fast forward to the end of the day: everyone applauded her for a job well done, as though it was solely her effort. It felt off because I felt I deserved some recognition too—it was teamwork, after all. So, the point is, you never know how hurtful it can be when someone's effort goes unacknowledged.
