WHO WORKS HARDER? YOU OR THE DEVIL?




What if I told you that the devil works hard, but you, my dear, work even harder?

The devil kinda loves soft work. All he does is plant the idea in the heart of man, and then you and I carry out his bidding, sponsored by greed and selfishness.

We tend to push the blame on the devil, "The devil made me do it", but the actual truth is that the only thing he did was suggest or implant the thought. Then we humans not only strategize, but also plan and execute the whole thing.

The devil never held you at gunpoint, compelling you to act. Just a little whisper here and there, and you succumb to the greed in your heart.

I’ve always found it astonishing, the level of scheming it takes to actually do evil. It’s a whole lot of work. The mind of an evil man is very complex.

Dearest reader, the point is this: stop blaming the devil. He might have suggested it, but you’re 100% responsible for your response and actions. You went the extra mile over a suggestion. Nobody forced you, you worked harder!!!

TEAM WORK

It can be quite frustrating when a collective effort results in only one person receiving all the praise. Even if my contribution is just 1%, it shouldn’t be overlooked. You never know how these small efforts can make a significant difference. My bubugaga is back from school, and today we did a lot of tidying up. It’s amazing how I suddenly find the energy to work when she's around, despite my usual laziness. After completing so much work, we took a break—we were honestly worn out. Fast forward to the end of the day: everyone applauded her for a job well done, as though it was solely her effort. It felt off because I felt I deserved some recognition too—it was teamwork, after all. So, the point is, you never know how hurtful it can be when someone's effort goes unacknowledged.
