The Power of Association

"Stay away from foolish people; they have nothing to teach you"
Proverbs 14:7

Have you ever noticed yourself subconsciously doing something you saw someone else do? Maybe it's humming a tune someone kept singing, or mimicking someone’s mannerisms without realizing it.

Every relationship should add value to your life. When it doesn't, that alone is reason enough to walk away. Whether you realize it or not, you're being influenced by the people around you.

We are only as good as the company we keep. Your circle reflects your values because friendship often grows from shared interests. That’s why it’s often said, “Show me your friend and I will tell you who you are.”

Dear reader, association is powerful. Be intentional about the people you allow into your space. Nurture the right relationships and watch them grow into something beautiful. Relationships are a kind of currency. They can grant you access and open doors, but only the right kind. The wrong ones can lead to your downfall.

P.S. It's another Tuesday reminder that there’s a space for you in my daily Proverbs group.
