Proverbs 27:7
"One who is full loathes honey from the comb, but to the hungry even what is bitter tastes sweet"
I have always found this above scripture amusing in my Proverbs reading. Because come to think of it, who would loath honey?
Well, yesterday I had a lot to eat at work, I basically ate everything I came across, when I got home, they had made my favorite meal. Wallai I couldn't even taste it, because my stomach was stuffed.
If it were to be a day I was super hungry, I won't even wait to take off my shoe, or have a bath before I'll dive in.
There's this thing about being hungry, that makes you unable to accurately taste a food or tell the difference between a good food. Have you noticed that when you eat after waiting for a long time, you'd be so consumed by the need to eat that the taste is not noticed or more like, it's not a problem.
Dearest reader, I'm pretty sure you're waiting for the wisdom in all of this; well, you'll have to find that for yourself. But I'll leave you with an adage that says, " When a rich man is loyal to you, he really is. But poverty could make anyone humble"
