Do You Ke?

"Do you, and the world will kill you." — Mr. Paul

Today, in a conversation with my boss, I quoted an axiom he once mentioned to me, and he immediately corrected me.

The axiom was actually, "Do you; the world will adjust."
Oga explained that my version was an incomplete truth, and he sat me down to clarify. He said, and I quote, "You don’t just 'do you' anyhow. Do you within the confines of rules, regulations, principles, and wisdom."

The world is founded on principles. Just going whichever way you like, void of principles and wisdom, leads inevitably to an unkind reality.

Dearest reader, while it is understandable, and even encouraged, to do that which you want, boldly and without fear of criticism or people’s opinions, it is essential to ensure that in doing you, everything is done in accordance with sound principles.

Remember: it is death to just "do."

Think. Align. And then do you.
