"You cannot prepare enough for the inevitable." — Ava

Some things in life are inevitable, and we often recognize them. That is why it is common wisdom to prepare for the inevitable, to do all you can so that when it happens, you are not caught off guard.

However, Ava argues that no matter how much preparation is put in place, when the inevitable occurs, you will still feel its impact.

So why prepare at all if the impact is unavoidable? Ava explains that the purpose of preparation is to mitigate the situation. Without it, things could be far worse.

Imagine two people going to war, Mr. A and Mr. B. Mr. A is equipped with the right weapons, while Mr. B has none. Both will likely sustain injuries on the battlefield, but Mr. A’s chances of survival are significantly higher. Meanwhile, Mr. B would be left completely vulnerable, possibly even killed outright.

So yes, I agree with Ava. Preparation only gives an edge. The inevitable remains the inevitable.

Life happens and the inevitable befalls us. However, our level of preparation can make all the difference. So while we cannot fully escape the inevitable, we can still prepare, because preparation, no matter how incomplete, is better than none at all.

It can be quite frustrating when a collective effort results in only one person receiving all the praise. Even if my contribution is just 1%, it shouldn’t be overlooked. You never know how these small efforts can make a significant difference. My bubugaga is back from school, and today we did a lot of tidying up. "NOT ADMITTED"

She clicks on the Whatsapp group chat,  Yet another "Congratulations, you've been admitted", with her heart heavy, she angrily leaves the group, minimize out of Whatsapp. There she is patiently waiting for chrome to load her admission status, this is the third time today she's logging into her jamb caps.  Her eyes almost eager with hope, she muttered under her breath, "God please" The network server makes matter worst by going sluggishly as she clickes "Regular admission status" she closes her eyes, hoping against hope, praying fervently, that this time it'd be different.  But it's not, because as she opens her eyes slowly, she's greeted with an arrogantly boldly written, "NOT ADMITTED", screaming at her.
