WALK AND WORK IN LOVE

"If we allow ourselves to be full of hate, then the enemies have won." — X

Yesterday, my church organized a movie night where we watched a truly intriguing and faith-provoking film. I was so immersed in the movie that I almost cried.

One of the lessons that stood out to me was the importance of doing everything with love. No matter what you do, if it lacks love or comes from a place of hate, it is invalid, useless, and worthless.

At some point, it’s no longer about what you do or how passionate you are, it’s about where it comes from. That’s why we must make it a priority to pursue our ambitions in love.

The main character in this movie had a vision: to save the lives of some African children. The burden was heavy, it was a lot. With little to no help, frustration and resentment crept in. So yes, he was saving lives, but he wasn't doing it from a place of love. That was the error.

As Pastor Victor once asked, What are you driving, and what is driving you? We must question the reasons behind our actions because the motive behind a vision is more important than the vision itself.

According to 1 Corinthians 13:1-3, love is everything. Without it, all that we do for the Kingdom—and in life—is nothing but noise.

Dearest reader, in the words of Mr. Pojo:

"When you stop walking in love, you start walking out of depths. The less your love, the shallower you become. The more you love, the deeper your depth of insight."
