THE 10 PERCENT.

"The real success is not what people post or display." — Mr. Paul

My definition of success is that success is the gradual realization of a worthy goal. The journey, the process that leads us to achieving this goal is often hidden, while the goal itself is what gets displayed in the end.

As a society, we've come to glamorize the result (the achieved goal) and neglect the process. For instance, each time I watch Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie give a speech, I feel a strong desire to be just as successful. But in reality, there’s much more to her success than what I see on stage.

Therefore, it is futile to attempt to replicate a person’s success without prior knowledge and understanding of their process. If we rely solely on what is shown, seen, or displayed, then we are undoubtedly blind, blind in the sense that there is always more beneath the surface.

It is said that only 10 percent of what makes success is visible; the remaining 90 percent is never seen! So imagine modeling your life based on just the 10 percent you see online or on stage. Now you wonder why the "five steps to success" didn’t work for you, abi?

Dearest reader, my coach would always admonish me to look beyond the 10 percent that is shown and see the 90 percent that forms the holistic design. But also seeing that 90% is almost impossible
Remember, there is always a mountain beneath an iceberg.
