Success and Failure as Feedback
"If we treat success the same way we treat failure—as an experience, not a goal, you'll be fine." — ID KABASA
At the end of the day, everything is feedback, whether success or failure, and the sooner we start treating it as such, the better for us.
When you encounter failure, how do you respond? When you encounter success, what is your reaction?
If failure leaves you feeling defeated and nothing more, you're missing the point. Instead, let it prompt you to analyze what went wrong and learn from it. The same applies to success, don't get carried away. Instead, reflect on what you did right to achieve that result.
That's how to handle feedback: take it in, analyze it, and extract the lessons. If the analysis is positive, replicate it. If negative, avoid repeating the same mistakes. It's that simple.
Dearest reader, the next time you experience success, sit down, treat it as feedback, and use it to elevate yourself. When you face failure, do the same, and you'll be fine. Treat every experience as feedback, not a goal!
