GOD DID! REALLY?

Lately, I've been questioning the idea of a miracle. What really is a miracle? What do people actually mean when they say, God did?

As Mr. Pojo puts it, A miracle is a phenomenon or an event that is beyond the limits of your expectation, experience, experiment, exegesis, and explanation.

The flying of a plane is a miracle, but we must understand that miracles aren't just about outcomes. I believe nothing is random. If that's true, then there are steps and guidance that lead to what we all recognize as a miracle.

Take, for instance, Rutherford’s observation during the discovery of protons. The results of his experiments were so astonishing that he remarked, “It was almost as incredible as if you fired a 15-inch shell at a piece of tissue paper and it came back and hit you.”

For him, that was a miracle, his discovery surpassed his expectations. However, he didn’t arrive at this incredible result instantly or by doing nothing. Instead, he followed a process.

Oftentimes, when we hear the word miracle, we picture something happening without effort, a sudden, effortless quantum leap. But that’s just the façade. Beneath the surface of a miraculous outcome lies an extraordinary amount of hard work to ensure its success.

Yet, what a man doesn’t understand he often categorized as a miracle. God creating the world is the greatest miracle of all time, but He didn’t merely speak things into existence. First, He hovered over the chaos, then expressed Himself through it all.

Dearest reader, are you waiting on a miracle? Seek the steps and guidance to achieving it. Nothing is random; nothing just happens like that. So when people say, God did, don’t just get excited—seek to understand what they did behind the scenes, in alignment with God’s will and purpose, that led to the astonishing result.
