QUALITY OVER QUANTITY

A few days ago, I was watching an interview of Bovi on The Honest Bunch Podcast when he mentioned a concept that deeply resonates with me: "Quality over quantity."

I remember he was explaining how parents ought to give their children attention, emphasizing that it’s not about the hours (quantity) spent with a child, but the quality of the time spent.

I believe this idea applies not just to parenting but to everything else, from our relationships to work and beyond. It’s about impact, not duration. What matters is not how much time you spend on something but how well you use that time. What is the impact of the 15 minutes you dedicate to a person, task, or goal?

The best people are often those who show up and leave within a few minutes, but in those moments, they make you feel like the moon, the stars, and the entire galaxy.

The trick is to make every second count! To maximize it. Giving someone or something attention doesn’t mean dedicating 24 hours straight, it’s about an intentional effort to leave a lasting impact.

Some people genuinely feel it’s exhausting to give their loved ones maximum attention, especially when life is busy, chaotic, and filled with responsibilities. But I’ve come to understand that maximum attention has nothing to do with how long you’re present.

We could spend the whole day together (quantity time), but if the time spent has no meaningful impact, it amounts to nothing. On the other hand, imagine spending just 30 minutes together where we address a profound issue or share a heartfelt conversation. That brief moment could feel golden and leave a lasting impression.

Dearest reader, go for quality, not quantity. Give people quality time. Leave them impacted. Apply this to every area of your life, and the results will speak for themselves.
