IS IGNORANCE REALLY BLISS?

If you actually go looking for something, you’ll find it. I guess that’s why it is said that ignorance is bliss. Sometimes, not knowing seems safe, but is it really?

Of course, there’s an inevitable consequence that comes with not knowing, as ignorance is no excuse. But I genuinely wonder if it’s better not knowing.

Have you experienced the pickle that comes with knowing—not guessing? Facts can be so damn hurtful.

Dearest reader, it's not enough to crave the truth. Are you able to handle it? Can you bear the burden that comes with knowing? Because the truth is not only bitter; it is, in fact, heavy with thick venom.

There’s an adage my sister often uses: “A meat you don’t want to eat, don’t divide it with your teeth.” This means that if you must divide it, you must be ready to eat it. By using your teeth to divide it, you’ve already had a taste.

The truth, like everything else, has both its upsides and downsides. We become hypocrites when we only focus on its benefits (upsides) and neglect its consequences (downsides).

The point is, ignorance is bliss, but it also comes with its consequences, just as the truth comes hand in hand with a heavy burden and, of course, bliss.

So, dearest reader, do you think the bliss that comes with not knowing outweighs the burden of knowing?
