EPISODE 101 OF DARING THE HARD!!

I tend to challenge myself a lot, taking on things I’m not always sure how to navigate and somehow believing I can make it through.

My sister would say I’m highly unrealistic—and maybe she’s right! But I’d rather give my all and fail than sit back, paralyzed by the fear of failing.

I have a habit of setting myself up for things that I initially consider to not be a big deal, only to find they turn out to be quite demanding. But why not?

The thing about daring to try something you’re not sure you can do is that it forces you to discover if you’re truly capable or not. Attempting is a powerful step, and of course, you never really know until you experience it firsthand.

So, go for it. Take that opportunity! It can only go two ways: either you nail it, or it nails you. If you succeed, you feel fulfilled and ready to learn even more. If it doesn’t go as planned, you gain a lesson and move on, still learning. Either way, you grow.

Another important thing about attempting is that it shows you if you’re ready for what you’ve been praying for. Succeeding or struggling with the challenge reflects whether you’re prepared for the opportunities you seek.

Often, we tell ourselves lies about what we can or cannot do. "I can do it!"—but how do you know? What evidence supports that belief? "I cannot do it!"—who told you that? What’s the proof?

Dearest reader, dare to try. Dare to attempt—not from a place of empty pride in “I can do all things,” but with a genuine need to build experiences that validate what you know about yourself. As they say, we’ll never know if we don’t dare to try.
