EMOTIONS AFFECT PHYSICAL.
I was having a really nice day today, and then boom! I misplaced my work phone. I, who was already recovering from the illness that plagued me, instantly felt feverish and weak.
In no time, I was shaking, it was that bad. Well, this was majorly because it had happened before. I had misplaced this same phone around this same time last year, so it just felt surreal. In my head, I was like, "This can't be happening again now!"
Funny enough, the moment I heard someone had found the phone and wanted me to come pick it up, I immediately got this surge of energy all at once. It felt like rocket science, one moment I was down and shaky, almost crying, and the next, I was running outside in search of network to reach the good Samaritan (the person who found the phone).
Now, here's what this taught me: our emotions are connected to our brain, which acts as an interpreter for our body, ensuring wellness. In other words, my state of mind affects my physical well-being to a significant extent.
Dearest reader, have you noticed how much your mood or mental state affects you physically? I'm sure we've all experienced a physical breakdown as a result of mental strain or had bad news give us a fever. This shows how interconnected our entire being is.
By the way, do wish me luck on getting te phone tomorrow!
