Bed Rest Chronicles.

The funny thing about being on bed rest is that everything happens in a blur. It feels like life itself is moving on, and I'm just sleeping through it.

Mehn, one moment I hear the assembly bell from the primary school close to our apartment. I blink and open my eyes to the chatter of children running home with heavy backpacks. As I try, unsuccessfully, not to throw up, I lay back down, and the next moment, it's 5 p.m. — time to force down a bunch of tablets.

I try to do the math, but it’s not adding up. This whole day feels like just 10 minutes of me being lucid. Like, how?

What makes this so funny is that I used to have a ridiculously long schedule to account for every single hour of my day. But now? It is what it is.

Dearest reader, haffa naw? How’s this going on your end? And please, do tell me — what time is it?
