ALIGNING HEART, MOUTH AND HANDS.
"Positive confession on the wrong foundation is vanity." — Mr. Pojo
I believe in calling forth things that are not as though they were, but I’ve come to understand that things work because they were built before they were spoken. Three things must align: our heart, mouth, and hands.
Therefore, the mouth (the organ of confession/speech) becomes the bridge between the heart/mind (the seat of thoughts) and the hands (the organ of action). When these aren’t in alignment, whatever is professed becomes vain, amounting to nothing, as mere confessing doesn’t do the magic.
After 430 years of slavery, the children of Israel were finally freed. However, they had accumulated decades of trauma, so God had them wander in circles for 40 years to remove Egypt (the trauma of slavery) from them. Now, let’s imagine if the children of Israel left Egypt and began confessing that they were free of Egypt (without addressing their trauma), would that have done the magic?
Of course not. That’s why the hands and heart must align with whatever the mouth is confessing. The foundation of positive confession is a positive mindset, paired with hands that engage in positive actions.
Dearest reader, when you speak words you do not believe in your heart and fail to work toward with your hands, it becomes mere wishing. So, the next time you call forth things that are not as though they were, ensure that your heart and hands are in alignment.
Merry Weekend!
