This Thing Called Better.

Is it really well? Lol.

I wish I could tell you it gets better without feeling the gnawing thud of hypocrisy, because am I sure it'll get better? Not quite.
Will it get better? It just might.

---

Well, I believe in the "things don't get better, we do" theory. As humans, we are the ones who get better. When we improve and grow stronger, it makes it seem like things have gotten better.

So, until you get better, everything else will suffer. Therefore, if you aren't improving daily, you don't really have the right to cry, be sad, or feel depressed when things don't seem to be getting better.

Just like my sister would say, "Don't use your teeth to divide meat you don't want to eat." In the same way, don't crave growth when you're not getting better.

So, "It's well" should spring from a place of knowing. Knowing that it gets better eventually or over time, because you're intentionally becoming better.

Dearest reader, experiencing "better" comes from within. If you are better, it will flow and show in all you do. You don't need to hope for better or believe that better is coming; just be better.
