When It Gets Tough, Keep Going!

That phase where it feels like nothing is working is often your most critical phase.

Do you feel stuck? Like you're not making progress? Like you should be better, stronger, or doing more? Do you find yourself hating your life a little more each day?

One of the best principles to remember is that when things get harder, tougher, and more intense, you're usually closer to your desired result. I used to run marathons, and one key lesson I learned from training is that at the point where it feels like you're going to collapse—when your lungs are burning, your legs feel like lead, and your brain is screaming from exhaustion—that's the moment most people give up or slow down. And it's often frustratingly close to the finish line, where relief and reward await.

But those who push through, fighting to continue, emerge as winners.

The lesson here is simple: when the going gets tougher, the tough rise. As Proverbs says, "If you faint in the time of adversity, your strength is small."

Dearest reader, when things get tough, keep going. The reward is often closer than you think.
