The Thrill of Teamwork.

 
What an amazing day I had today! I hope yours was equally delightful.

After work, I went to the venue where my church's media department was meeting to create content for our upcoming program. It was an incredible experience.

Unexpectedly, I was asked to write something on the spot. At first, I panicked because I usually take my time to think things through before writing. However, within less than five minutes, I had it done—and it turned out pretty well!

The rest of the content creation process was thrilling and engaging as we all exchanged ideas. It felt wonderful to be a part of the team.

Now, here's something funny that happened: I had written the script myself, it was my last words but when it was my turn to say it in front of the camera, I couldn't get it right, wasting the precious time we didn't have.

Today reminded me so much of one of my mentors, Ma Esther Paul, who taught me most of what I know about media content. Without her guidance, I wouldn't have been able to contribute to the team and enjoy the fun we had today.

TEAM WORK

It can be quite frustrating when a collective effort results in only one person receiving all the praise. Even if my contribution is just 1%, it shouldn’t be overlooked. You never know how these small efforts can make a significant difference. My bubugaga is back from school, and today we did a lot of tidying up. It’s amazing how I suddenly find the energy to work when she's around, despite my usual laziness. After completing so much work, we took a break—we were honestly worn out. Fast forward to the end of the day: everyone applauded her for a job well done, as though it was solely her effort. It felt off because I felt I deserved some recognition too—it was teamwork, after all. So, the point is, you never know how hurtful it can be when someone's effort goes unacknowledged.
