THE END...

Do you often wonder what comes next after achieving all your dreams? What comes after completing that task you've looked forward to for years?

Well, I do too. Is there really an end where I can finally rest from the pressure of smashing goals? Honestly, there isn't. It's a never-ending loop, where each problem leads to the next, which leads to yet another, and so on.

So, the idea of absolute rest or an end is an illusion—unless you're prepared to die. We never reach the so-called end of the tunnel because right at that end is another tunnel.

As Ma Esther Paul would fondly say, "The reward for work well done is more work." So, you see the unending cycle. From one thing to the next.

Dearest reader, there’s always going to be a "what’s next." Brace yourself and cleanse yourself of the illusion that there will ever be an end.

TEAM WORK

It can be quite frustrating when a collective effort results in only one person receiving all the praise. Even if my contribution is just 1%, it shouldn’t be overlooked. You never know how these small efforts can make a significant difference. My bubugaga is back from school, and today we did a lot of tidying up. It’s amazing how I suddenly find the energy to work when she's around, despite my usual laziness. After completing so much work, we took a break—we were honestly worn out. Fast forward to the end of the day: everyone applauded her for a job well done, as though it was solely her effort. It felt off because I felt I deserved some recognition too—it was teamwork, after all. So, the point is, you never know how hurtful it can be when someone's effort goes unacknowledged.
