JOY OF SCRIBBLING.
There are certain things we shouldn't outgrow, certain habits that do us a great deal of good.
Around last year, I developed the habit of carrying a book and a Bic pen with me. As a writer, it was really helpful. The best part of it was that I started using it to make "To-do lists," which greatly improved my efficiency.
I don’t know if you can relate to the satisfaction that comes with ticking off a task you wrote down as done (✅). It provides motivation to keep going, and such a list compels people like myself to be productive, especially as I can easily I
feel overwhelmed by everything I need to do.
Well, I kinda outgrew using a book because, let's be honest, why go through the stress of scribbling when you can always use a mobile? However, I quickly (or rather, slowly) learned how valuable this habit was in keeping me efficient.
Dearest reader, not everything should be given up abeg, Technology is sweet and all, but what can compare to the pure bliss of scribbling or manually ticking off a task as done?
I bought a fancy journal, and so far, I’ve been enjoying it.
