HABIT STACKING.

"When you make excuses, you're wiring your brain for failure." - Pst. Kenny

When it comes to putting off assignments and giving legitimate excuses, that's my field. I can procrastinate like no other. But I've learned that by giving excuses, you configure yourself wrongly, making it difficult to carry out tasks. Even when you're trying your best, you'll find that your brain has been adjusted to that pattern.

Without my conscious effort, I have developed a habit of not working until a deadline and stacking assignments. Trust me, it has cost me a lot.

As my coach would say, "Inconsistency is learned." Every action we take is casting a vote for the kind of person we will become. Therefore, putting off one small task now casts a vote against your ambition of being a goal-getter, and over time, results in heavy procrastination.

So, even if it doesn't feel like it, force yourself to get the job done without giving too many excuses.

Dearest reader, we're all hardwired by our habitual actions. Don't make your brain adapt to negative patterns.
