CAN AND WILL.

The ability to do something differs from the willingness to do it.

We often get carried away by the idea or realization that everything needed to achieve something is within our reach. This can lead to paying little or no attention to the motivation required to actually follow through.

My sister registered for a digital skills course today. "It’s great to finally have the course," she told me. Now, let’s say the course gives her the ability to generate wealth through the knowledge it offers, but sitting through the course is where the real work lies.

So, she can, but will she be able to?

Beyond ability, willingness is a strong determining factor. I might be highly competent, but if I’m not willing, I may not show up at all.

Dearest reader, ability is overrated. The true measure of what you can do lies in what you are willing to do.
