THE THING WITH SELF-CONTROL.
"The people with the best self control are typically the ones who need to use it the least", X.
Self control like a rubber band with each stretch tends to slack. The more you put yourself in situations that'll test your self-control the more it wanes.
There's this "It can never be me" rebuke we do when we hear the absurdity of other's actions, we give strategy ways we would use to escape if we were ever in such situation, we beat our chest at how well we'd behave if it were us.
But go through the same strain first, before you fly into the conclusion that you're any better. Although, most people have the opinion that the people with the most self-control are the ones fighting the urge to do something they badly want to, it is, however, those who single themselves out from such tempting circumstances that has the most self control.
Because like it or not, we are human, there's only a point to which one can be restraint. Therefore, the best way of avoiding to indulge in something is to avoid the environment that exerts the pressure to do it.
Dearest reader, they are things that triggers a certain response from us, they are clues that induces craving, and with that in place resisting becomes quite a task. The less you're in situations that test your self-control the most your ability to be well controlled.
