A Lesson in Empathy: The Grass Clearing Saga
Hey there!
I trust you had a nice day; mine was one hell of a day. Allow me share with you a funny experience, shall we?
A few days back, I was feeling unwell but had planned to clear the grass in our compound, which was turning into a bush. Knowing I wouldn't have another break soon, I paid a neighborhood kid to help me.
After he finished, I checked his work and was furious at how rough it was. I felt I'd wasted money that I could have used to buy noodles, and it didn't seem worth it. Fueled by annoyance, I decided to finish the job myself.
Omor, a few minutes into it, I immediately understood why he struggled. I gave up and was even thankful he tried his best.
Dearest reader, if we don't try, we'll never know. Initially, I was angry, but after experiencing the difficulty of clearing the grass myself, I was grateful for his effort.
