10 THOUSAND MILES

"When people go a mile for you, especially in distress, endeavor to go an extra mile for them," Mr. Paul said.

It's an error to forget the times people came through for you and not reciprocate double when they need you. My boss is one of the most appreciative people I know. You might think he had forgotten, but he never fails to go above and beyond for those who have helped him.

A few weeks back, he misplaced his phone, and some good people found it. When he called, they directed him to their location so he could pick it up. He was so happy that he rewarded them generously.

The point is, we live in a world where it is every man for himself; everybody has their own stuff going on. So, if someone is kind enough to step out of their issues and extend a helping hand in distress, be well-mannered enough to turn up for them when needed, in the most dedicated way possible.

Dearest reader, it's not every day you come across people kind enough to go a mile for you, but if you do, endeavor to go ten thousand miles for them. It makes a difference!
