CONSISTENT WRITING.
Guess what?
I have been writing consistently every day for the past 255 days now. Funny enough, I've deleted about five write-ups today because I felt they were not good enough. Is it possible for someone who has been writing for such a long time to have writer's block? Yes!
Writing doesn't really get easier with time; you just get better. A few days back, my coach gave me a topic to write about, and I really wanted to impress him. So, I told him to anticipate and prepare to be blown away.
That's pride, you know. It's been a long time since I was ever proud of something, and I was ecstatic. It used to be academics, but now it's writing. As I settled down to tailor the write-up, I was a little scared because I had overhyped my skills.
Long story short, the write-up was really nice, and my coach won't stop praising me for it. Why was I able to boast about something I was yet to write? I had gotten better with time and training. But that doesn't make it as easy as ABC for me. I still stretch my brain with each piece of content; I still write, rewrite, edit, and even delete content.
I can't say writing is easy, and I can't say it's hard, but I do know from experience that it is doable. Therefore, it is neutral and can be tough every now and then, even for experts.
Dearest reader, when you get better, everything becomes seemingly easier but not without effort.
