Utilize access.
In the words of Mr. Paul, "Treat every opportunity you come across as though it won't be available the next day. That will not only help you utilize it but also prepare for its absence."
After experiencing the relocation of someone I looked up to, I have learned to take advantage of every opportunity to learn.
The thing about having access to certain persons is the fact that we think things would always remain the same and we will always have them. But, that's not true; you never know how tomorrow will turn out.
There's a lady I so much idolize. I loved her so much, and at a point, I wanted to be her. I was also privileged to be in her space; she doted on me, and there was so much I had to learn from her. As a result of several factors, I wasn't able to completely learn most of the things we were doing together because I assumed there was still time.
At the start of this year, she relocated, and my access to her was restricted to WhatsApp. That was when I realized that I had messed up big time. If I had known, I would've utilized the time I had with her, and for this reason, I vowed to never repeat such a mistake.
Dearest reader, you can't assume that people will be in your life forever or have your time in the long run. Therefore, whenever you're given these opportunities, don't joke with them; utilize them as if there's no tomorrow.
