LAST MINUTE.
When it comes to running late, I deserve an award. It's how I'm running helter-skelter each time I have an appointment that's so hilarious.
Can you imagine sitting down doing absolutely nothing and then a few minutes before the appointed time, you start hurrying up? That's me on most days.
Well, today I had a lot to do given that it's my day off. I started off sluggishly, you know that feeling when you think you have all day long since there's hardly any plans. Aside from the bunch of household chores I had to do, the only other thing was visiting a cyber cafe to correct a particular error.
Knowing fully well that the cyber cafe closes by 4 pm sharp, I continued on with what I was doing at a very slow pace. Before I knew it, time was at 3 pm and I was so surprised. Time does fly as they say.
One thing that still amazes me is how I adapt into this swift and industrious person under certain pressure. I had to be at work tomorrow so I definitely must do the change today. I turned into Flash, and in an hour I was hurrying down, running at some point and even urging the bike to go faster.
Dearest reader, I did get there right before they closed and did what I needed to do, but that risk was too much. If only I had been time conscious, I wouldn't have to be running late. But one thing I learned was that I'm probably that last-minute person."
What did you learn from my today's experience?
