A LESSON ON PATIENCE.
Today felt like it was set out to test my patience. It was funny, but also a bit annoying.
Imagine waiting hours for something that usually takes just a few seconds. I can't remember waiting as much as I did today, my entire life.
I couldn't get angry because it was all a process and i couldnt do fastforward. First, the waybill driver took forever to arrive, even though he had urged me to wait in the park for hours. Next, the people I needed to send stuff to weren't answering their phones, leaving me waiting for about an hour. Finally, I had to wait in a queue at a place where I'm usually attended to immediately.
Despite today's unusually long waits, I'm glad. When things often go our way, we adapt to expecting that, and on days like today, we might flare up at the unusual delays.
Dear reader, every day nor be Christmas. I had one hell of a day, but I'll spare you the details. What I can share is the importance of staying open-minded and not getting unnecessarily dramatic when things don't go your way. Things won't always go as planned, but remember that everything that happens is just feedback.
Happy Thursday!
