THE THING ABOUT GROWTH...

The law of gravity dictates that whatever goes up must come down.

The thing about growth is its sustainability; it doesn't waver but continually scales upward. You can come into money by chance, but it takes a certain level of growth to maintain and multiply it.

Recently, my boss asked what I would do with a sum of 500k in 6 months to turn it into a million naira. Honestly, I couldn't sustain or multiply that sum yet, but with a certain level of growth, it'd be achievable.

A preacher once taught us not to pray for a sudden "blow" of success because, like jumping up, it's spontaneous and nearly impossible to sustain since it lacks a pattern.

Instead, we should aspire to "grow up" because growth is a process with a pathway that demonstrates how it occurs and how to replicate it.

Just as there's a distinction between having money and being wealthy, there's a difference between jumping up and growing up. If we jump up (blow), we'll surely come down; we can't defy rules. But if we undergo the growth process and emerge, there's no way we can come down.

The greatest advantage growth has over jumping is that it establishes roots.

Dear reader, let's grow up so that when we finally sprout, no wind will be able to destroy us, given that we have roots and aren't just topsoil. GROW!! It's challenging, but it's profitable.
