THE ORANGE ANALOGY.
"If you squeeze an orange, what will come out?"
Today, my boss used this analogy to illustrate that intense pressure reveals the true nature of people.
While I thrive under pressure, I also detest it. Pressure exposes both the raw and refined aspects of a person, unveiling unknown abilities but also unrefined sides. Therefore it is safe to say, pressure can be a double-edged sword.
Many deny their flaws, but I've begun to accept and work on mine. As the saying goes, "Beauty, intellect, connection, and more can elevate you, but your attitude determines long long you'll stay at the top."
We mustn't reach our dreams only to reveal a sour attitude under pressure, as it can lead to swift rejection.
Dearest reader, when an orange is squeezed, it produces orange juice because that's its content. Similarly, we must manage our reactions under pressure, showcasing emotional intelligence.
