THE INTRICACY OF OUR MINDS.

So today didn't go as I planned, but well, it happens, doesn't it?

I have this habit of rating each day at its end: Fairly perfect, regular day, or fairly upsetting. Today fell into the 'regular' category, yet I had the feeling of 'fairly upsetting.'

As I walked home with a stony expression (given that I wear my heart on my sleeve), I noticed myself subconsciously willing for an incoming vehicle to hit me, imagining how the whole scenario would unfold. Instantly, I rebuked the thoughts, shocked by my own mind.

Who does that? Have you ever experienced such a thing? It's something my stepmom would say I need deliverance for, if I had told her. What baffled me was how vividly I could imagine it, making me to feel it must've been triggered by something. Then it struck me, i had come across a status about a similar accident earlier in the day. It's incredible how the mind works.

Dearest reader, we should be discerning about what we watch, listen to, and read because the subconscious mind never forgets. It absorbs every detail, even without your consent.
