ONCE IN WHILE.

"Every now and then, it's grand to step out of the things you're privileged at and explore the opposite; it leaves you with immense gratitude," said Mr. Paul.

You wouldn't know how privileged you are until you get stripped of those privileges. The little things we often take for granted could turn out to seem gigantic when we no longer have access to them.

This could also relate to people.

Just last week, my boss took his car for repair and used public transportation for the first time in a while on his way back. When he arrived at the office, sweating profusely, he remarked, "The sun is really hot."

I bet on his way there, he wouldn't have realized the intensity of the sun or the heat. But he did on his way back because a certain comfort was missing.

It never seems like a big deal until you step out of that privilege. And then you'll see how lucky and blessed you are.

Dear reader, The point is, we must learn to intentionally step out of certain privileges we have, from time to time, so as to truly grasp their importance and be grateful for them.
